The make and model
Of the applicator, blister line or packaging machine the rolls go on. It tells us most of what the roll has to be.
Capabilities · Roll size & fit
A roll has to fit your machine before anything else matters. Work out how much fits on a roll, see how your applicator or packaging machine finds each label, and know what to send us.
Roll calculator
An estimate for planning. Real length depends on the material, winding tension and core wall; we confirm roll counts with your quote. Assumes one label across each roll.
Finding each label
Most label applicators find each label with a gap sensor. Light passes through the bare liner in the gap more easily than through a label, so the signal jumps at every gap and the applicator dispenses one label per jump. Even gaps and a liner that suits your sensor keep it reliable.
Form-fill-seal machines read a printed eye mark once per repeat with a photo-eye, then cut and seal in register, so every pack is centred on its artwork. We print the mark where your machine looks for it, in a colour and size it reads.
